IN COLO!1!!!one!1!!You have no idea how much Warriors was ruined by its fans.
The books are okay, but they get boring. I don't see what the fuss is about with a bunch of indian cats running around that talk. Maybe its because it relates to their fursonas.
I have no idea.

But what gets me is that some kids make their own cat with a not-so-creative-name

and think that their cat may be in one of the books. What ALSO gets me is that they try to ANIMATE the books but then bail on the first try because their attention span is smaller than their IQ.

LMAO. This is great. I used to read The Warriors religiously when I was younger, I grew out of it when I turned about sixteen, but I still recognize it was (at least at the time) a decent series for it's target audience. My experience in the fandom is, however, marred by many of the fans. Crazy bunch, that lot.

This made me laugh because my dad says "let's watch Porn Stars" ( "DAD!!! D8<" ) as a parody of "Pawn Stars" XD
And really, I like Warriors and all, but the fandom did ruin it for me. I mean, I read most of the books while I was in middle school and early highschool. But I stopped in the middle of the third series. I might get back to it at some point, but meh. I tried to join the official forums and an rp site that looked good, but the fans were so immature it made me gag. I mean, they were disrespectful to characters and the fans who like them. For example on the official forum one person went around referring to Firestar as "Whimpystar" and I thought that was rather rude (and confusing because they weren't exactly trying to be clear about who they were talking about so I asked.) What got be was they were calling Firestar whimpy because of how he tries to handle petty conflicts peacefully instead of rushing off to war like some of the other cats want to. Really, they were just mistaking Wisdom for Weakness. XDXDXD Then I posted the SSSwarriorcats animation and fans didn't read my post and went running around "OMG THERE'S AN ANIME?!?!!!!1111 WILL IT ONLY BE AIRING IN JAPAN?!~?!11" =________=; I left after that.
