Description
This fairy gown was inspired by the vibrant fuchsia 'Emma Louise' flower (www.rushcreekgrowers.com/indexβ¦ ). I wanted the overall look of the gown to resemble a upside down flower. The top being the sepal holding the petals that fall below. I made an asymmetrical underbust corset that laces up on each side under the arms. The silk ombre petals are decorated with varying size sequins and beads. It also lights up! I embedding LEDs in the wings to give it that "faerie glow" at night.Another version -Β

Wow this is absolutely beautiful. I love the design of the upside down flower, and I don't know how you do it with the material, but it drapes beautifully, and those little circle "sparkles" really add an amazing touch to an already amazing dress.

This is just so beautiful! I love the way you manipulate fabric, particularly on the 'leaf' part of the gown. All of the upright veins running across the material and the little holes along the edges, the detail is just stunning! And the colors throughout the piece are just fabulous.
Now I just have to restrain myself from faving everything in your gallery.
