History |
- Born as a loner, Dust didn't have a very close relationship with his family, and set off on his own in his late adolescence.
- While traveling, he came across Lightning Spark, another traveling loner, and they decided to travel together. After a while, Lightning Spark and Dust stopped near a clearing for a while. Both were quite tired of wandering by now, and decided to settle in the clearing, building a few small dens the next day.
- After a while, Dust began to experience strange dreams, at first just whispers in his ears, before progressing to seeing spirits in his sleep. Dust was nervous, though the spirits were benevolent. They had once lived near the clearing, and were pleased to see some new life in their old home, and offered blessings to the pair in thanks, though they'd have to go to their old sacred place to receive them. He told this to Lightning Spark, who was at first worried, but relaxed when told the spirits were good.
- The following night, Dust and Lightning Spark traveled to a denser area of forest that the spirits had spoken of, and found that the moonlight would filter through the dense leaf cover in such a way that allowed the spirits to visit them more reliably. They visited with the spirits in their dreams there, and the spirits requested that Dust become the Light Keeper, a role that acts as a healer to the living and a contact for the spirits. He accepted, and when he woke, he'd found that Lightning Spark had been chosen by them to lead the newborn colony, being blessed with nine lives and the suffix and title of their previous Grove Keepers, becoming Lightning Grove. He decided to take on a suffix like how Lightning Grove had told him she had when she was young, and became Dust Glow.

Lightning Grove | || Lightning Grove met Dust Glow while he was wandering once he'd been away from his family for a while. They've known each other for quite a while now, and have grown to see each other as adoptive siblings. They're very close.
