History |
- Born as a loner, much of Lightning Grove's young life was spent wandering with her family, occasionally settling in one spot for a while. Once she hit adulthood, she chose a last name for herself, as was custom for the adults of her family, and set out on her own.
- While traveling, she met Dust, another wandering loner, and they decided to travel together. After a while, Lightning Spark and Dust stopped near a clearing for a while. Both were quite tired of wandering by now, and decided to settle in the clearing, building a few small dens the next day.
- After a while, Dust told Lightning Spark that he'd been being visited by spirits in his dreams, and that they had once lived there. At first, Lightning Spark was worried, but the spirits were pleased that cats had returned to bring life back into what was once their own home. Additionally, they had some blessings to offer.
- The following night, Lightning Spark followed Dust to a denser area of forest that the spirits had spoken of, and found that the moonlight would filter through the dense leaf cover in such a way that allowed the spirits to visit them more reliably. They visited with the spirits in their dreams there, and a group of nine spirits offered to Lightning Spark nine lives, and the suffix and title of their previous leading cats, which she accepted, becoming Lightning Grove the Grove Keeper and officially starting off the new colony. Dust decided to take a suffix similar to how Lightning Grove had when she was younger, and became Dust Glow.
