This is a little comic page I did as some offhand framing practice. I would love to do a comic someday, but.... I don't know if I reasonably have the time for it. If I ever did, it would be very sporadic and lucky to be finished. Maybe someday!
For now, just practice. I fucked up Gunbir's hand. I'm not fixing it LOL. Let mistakes be mistakes. That's the joy of art.
Aaliyah lost her father very suddenly to what could only be assumed as a major heart attack. He was there one minute, gone the next. It was something she never really recovered from leading up to her own passing (the reason of which depends on which canon I'm dealing with - assume the same car accident in which Gunbir loses his arm, I suppose).
She never really knew her mom, so he was all she had aside from her sister. At least she has friends, and a budding, oddball romance that neither of them can really articulate. Their son comes within the year (whoops!).
Are they actually romantic? Or is it a weirdly close friendship? They never figure this out
