Description
This is a section of the Katoomba Creek which starts after the Katoomba Falls.After climbing over a safety fence I clambered all over these slippery rocks to search for the best perspectives.
I'm still experimenting with the new camera and haven't quite worked it all out yet.
Can you follow the flow of the water?

And now for a halfway intelligent comment that I was too tired to make before.
I think I can follow the flow of the water mostly from the top right to te lower left. I love all the little "falllets". But I am wondering where the fall at the lower right is coming from. Is there a hidden pool about center-photo?

The water started out as one flow and then split around a rock before joining up in this scene.

P.S. I always hop the safety fence to get my shots. As long as the park rangers are no where around. Helps keep your shots different from everyone else.

I have the UV filter, Polariser and the cokin graduated neutral density filters.
I really don't see the point of taking the same photos as every tourist does

Exactly. Do they have fines over there if you hop the fences? Some here are pretty expensive.

I haven't seen anything about fines. There normally aren't many people around when I am out photographing.

Most of the places that I have been to are very isolated and we hardly ever see anyone. I don't think that I have ever actually seen a ranger when I have been in the National Parks.
