Time continued to pass by without a single move being made, each second consumed by indecision and ineptitude. Kumiko fidgeted with the piece in her hand, rubbing the tips of her fingers against the smooth wooden surface, contemplating. Contemplating so hard that her head might burst into flames at any moment.
Forty-five minutes.
"The first move is always the hardest, isn't it?" Yae's calm, yet cheerful, voice broke the tedious silence as she tried to console the floundering Clefairy. When her words were met with more silence she continued, "I can help you, if you'd like!" She had full intentions of making Kumiko's first move for her, if only to save the poor girl from embarrassment and help move the game along.
Finally the pink-haired girl spoke.
"You just have to make a picture, right? I was thinking of making a flower..."
This match might go on for a looooooong time.

Do you drew the lines first traditionally, did base color traditionally, and then edited it digitally? o
Yup! Used ink pens for the lines, then painted with watercolors u v u then I added stuff like the sparkles and dot pattern in Photoshop~ the pattern was a fill that I downloaded sometime ago / v \ wish I could've done more of this traditionally but wELP DEADLINES;;;

Look at those textures and pretty colors and how CLEAN it is even with the approachable 'casual' look to it all, I LOVE IT. Even the story is super cute omgggg, Kumiko my BABE. Yae would totally make pictures out of the pieces with you, that would be way more fun for her than actually playing the game, pfft.
