First piece in my nails and chains series.

This is one I kind of threw together while thinkin of how to create what was suppose to be the first piece in this series. (as of now that one will be third) I had some dried up roses laying around and decided that they would make a great piece. Unfortunately, this didn't turn out quite right, but I think it's ok.

It looks a lot better in person. I just can't ever seem to get a good picture of any of my paintings. It's a little blurry and there's a bit of a glare, which kind of threw off the color just a little, but for the most part, it's true to the actual color.

Oh yeah and the chains on the bottom both hang down about another inch-inch and a half, and the one that goes off the top goes around to hook at the back of the canvas. All of the chains are freely hanging and are only glued on at the points where they are attached to the thorns

Materials: acrylic paint, roses, stems, thorns, chains, matte medium, modeling gel on 11x14" canvas
