Hurricane Irma is approaching Puerto Rico and even though a storm of this magnitude is terrifying, I can't help but feel awe at its raw power and beauty. For this drawing I was inspired by the hurricane goddess of Taino culture, re-imagined as a disk thrower.Now, time to hunker down and wait for the storm to pass. Stay safe everybody!
