Description
Sammi the adorable Pikachu was made for the fabulous Centchi . She is made of Vanilla, Hot Pink, Caramel and Beige minky with applique details. Her tail is wired for support and posing, and she is lifesize at 40cm to the tips of her ears. It was great getting the chance to make a plush of such an iconic character, particularly a personalised version! Things went pretty smoothly with her patterning, although getting the face right took quite a bit of reworking. She's incredibly squishy and cuddly.Related content

Say, how did you make the plush? The thighs practicly melt into the whole body making it look so professional.

I combed out the seams to make everything smoother looking - basically when you sew with a fabric that has a pile (furry bits) some of it gets caught in the seams when you sew it together. If you take a brush and work those little furry bits out of the seams, they hide the seams quite a bit and make the whole thing look almost like it's seamless.

Personally i had to gain confidence in order to get better at drawing. That and watching videos and learning from a professional animator on youtube.
