Shining Armor is the final pony in the set commissioned by . He was a real challenge! I had to make a new pattern to suit the stocky, large-hoofed body type of the stallion, change the head shape, do the mane differently....but I had lots of fun. The armor was quite a challenge too, but in a different way. The armor is made of reinforced satin, minky and cotton. It is removable (it velcros at the front where the crest is and under his stomach).Oh, and he's 14.5 inches tall.

By far the best Shining Armor I've seen to date. The amount of detail you put into your ponies is absolutely astonishing! Great job, I think you more than did Shining Armor Justice, this is as others have said a perfect recreation of him.

I make a new pattern for each stallion I make, and I don't distribute my patterns. Sorry. You could try modifying one of the mare patterns available.

I don't know of any stallion patterns out there - there are a few you can buy on etsy for mares, though. You could modify one of those

Congratulations on a brilliant Shining Armor and thanks for sharing your gift with the world, it's very special. PS I don't know how you manage to sell these ponies they are soooo precious, your generosity has nearly reached Rarity levels.

I'm glad that by and large I'm living up to people's expectations...but it is a lot of pressure when you put it like that! I find it fairly easy to part with (most) of my ponies, because I'm a maker rather than a collector. The way I see it, I'm thankful that other people will take them off my hands, because it's the making and not the having that I love
