practicing coloring robots, not too sure about this one...this is part of a huge image. a DJ battle between Soundwave and Blaster with their tapes getting new LPs around them
i did this cuz soundwave owns, hands down hahah

Say, didn't I happen across this particular piece in the 'Transformers: Genesis' artbook some time back? That turned out really well. Of course, Soundwave owns the picture, but Blaster and crew still kick it up a notch. Guess that means we wont be seeing the finished copy here at DA then, this having been made official work and all. Pity.
The form of which you have posted here has an interesting quality to it, however. The way that the picture has been layered through a series of finishes (pencils for backgrounds, inks for supporting characers, and finally colours for the main mech himself) adds a captivating textural influence that draws the eye to the central focus. Hmm, I like it! I fully realize that this is simply a concequence of the image being a work-in-progress, but the result is strangely appealing. My advice would have been to leave it as it is, but open the framing out a little, so that we can actually see all of Ravage, Lazerbeak, and (what appears to be) Rumble. But there you go.
Having scanned the rest of your gallery, I find that many moons have passed since you last posted some finished Transformers art; could we possibly trouble you for some more? You are very talented, and Transfans like myself are always hungry for stuff of your obvious calibre. Anyway, great pic, and keep up the good work.

as for the piece yeah this is about as close to finished as im going to post here on DA
yeah its been a while since i've posted some art and since Dreamwave's demise i haven't been inspired to draw TFs anymore
but after those inpiring words i jus might, jus keep bugging me about it so i dont forget and sooner or later you just might see another piece come up

Yeah, it really sucks about Dreamwave, huh: I had it in my head that I'd impress them with my glorious DA gallery and land myself a shmick professional Transformers gig, but oh well. I draw Soundwave all the time. Unfortunately I'm not the best Transformer artist in the world, so my stuff isn't the best of quality. But I do spend alot of time on some of them and post all of them here. I do wish other, better artists would draw him, too. I absolutely adore him! He's so cool! <3
