Because ONE person demanded it! Well... not really...I was planning on coloring this one from the moment I scanned it, but I didn't get the new RAM card installed in the computer til yesterday and the last time I tried saving something my computer crashed. So here it is now.
Nothing too flashy...But I'm proud. I left the original paper tone in just because I like how it scanned. I wish my scanner wasn't a bitch and would let me scan the other part of the wing, but it deforms it on me. Ick...

I just drew and inked my color and then I come to find you did a gryphon in the same pose! Well well well. Hehe, this one is WAY cooler looking than my dragon at the moment. I love the shading, great tone of muscle. My only complaint is the wings look like they were added later.

Nice colors, I really like the browns, it could be a little more exotic looking if you varied the shades a little and gave it some markings of some kind. Gryphons are very exotic creaters, I even imagine the plain brown ones to have some kinds of markings.

sweet, i really like this alot more now that it's coloured.
although i did still like it before..now i really like it.
what did you use to colour it btw?and did it take long?
particularily i like the beak.a kind of weird bronz effect
+ faves :because i don't see many gryphons these days.
