Princess Leia of Star Wars 4-6 fame. I liked those ones better. Maybe more specifically... the novels that appeared after. The new movie is getting waaaay too much hype methinks. I feel like I'm gonna be disappointed.So... randomly decided that this would be an interesting character to draw.
I know that I took a lot of liberty with the costume. I did most of this with no reference other than some really small pics scattered around.
Maybe it's an alternate dress or something.
I kinda liked how her hips and thighs came out.... not pleased with other things. I suck at hands.... must practice more.
Lame background tossed in to cover up glaring white.

I liked Leia a lot more in the original trilogy than I did Padme in the new ones @_@ the originals were always the best! I like the liberties you took with her costume as well, they make her look even more kickass than she already is 8) The only crit I have is that the legs might be a bit long though, but that's probably me ()n.n fantastic work none the less

I agree the Star Wars franchise got overblown, I can't blame Lucas for wanting to get away from it...(I wonder if they'll start shipping the posters to our warehouse again - he's got an office here in Torrance, CA)

My, you have officially freaked me out.
I heard that George Lucas is glad that the Star Wars is done, and that this project just blew way out of proportion and really burned him out. Now he just wants to retire and make independant films now and then
I also heard that he doesn't use email.

I think it came out great. I especially like the detail you put in the clothing, the folds and wrinkles. Very nicely done.
