Description
This is really just practice. For anyone who's seen my other comics I'll show my latest oneYou can see I've tried doing layering on a background I made in ms paint
I'm trying to draw humans better because if you know me my previous human art was god dam awful so its slightly better perhaps I don't know
This will only be short 3 - 4 pages
I'll put on critiques if you're going to leave one don't just say "This is shit" That's not going to help much at least tell me what's bad and how I can improve
Frisk and Asriel belong to Toby fox

I'm trying to not be too rough here. But, we need to work on the hand and body anatomy here. Or just anatomy. If Frisk is female, maybe add visible eyelashes? I mean, you don't have to, but that's just a thought. I.e, the hands should be more 'complex'. Maybe look up a hand tutorial? Not in the bad way, I mean. And the lines should be less bad quality. Try putting the anti-aliasing off if there's any. Also, about Asriel's arm. Maybe make it a bit less longer? And for his shirt, maybe make it look like his shirt isn't just one piece, and put a line through where the buttons are.
Also, for the 2nd panel, where Frisk is, maybe make their shoulder a little bit more 'up', and back? And for the 1st panel, where Frisk is facing front way, maybe put her eyes a little bit closer, and her nose looking like it's actually facing forward?
And when Asriel's talking, maybe open his mouth, and add some nostrils to his, well, snout.
Thank you for reading this, and I hope you improve on your drawings! Also, please don't take this as being mean. I'm just trying to help. uwu

I wouldn't believe it's harsh. I'm just being truthful :V Plus, the person agreed with it.

Thank you for the critique
I know some jump the defensive gun when it comes to criticism but I'm not one those people . I'm still learning anatomy hands have never been my strong point,
Whenever you gives Frisk a gender you always get a angry fan [bit silly in my eyes] but I'm getting off topic here. I'll look at some hand tutorials any you suggest?
Again thanks for the feedback and I'm sure it will help me with my art

Haha. I used to be really defensive when it came to criticism, thinking I was so smart an' things! xD
I admit, that I'm not too well on my hands, but I'm getting there. I literally just practice from my own hands. But that was once from some doodles, I don't really do that in actual drawings.
And uh, I don't exactly have any hand tutorials in mind. Maybe you could draw a sketch line, for a small rough square as the palms, and draw sticks to how you want the fingers to be like? And then draw over it with the original lines.

Wow this is cool, I like the story behind it because it's 100% true!!
But what program did you make this in? Some of the lines are a bit.. pixely..
Also, the person who critiqued you is kinda right, the anatomy needs work. Maybe instead, just draw mitten shaped hands so you don't need to worry about fingers.
e.g iballisticcat.deviantart.com/a…
I pretty much never use actual fingers unless the character is doing a certain hand motion.
That's all i can say, but I'm here if you want a bit more help.
Also maybe add shading to add that 3D effect our eyes like

Thank you
The program is photoshop and the background is ms paint [at least I think it was I haven't used that background for a while] Never thought of using mitten shape hands. I need to practice hands big time this is going to sound saft but I'm not the greatest at shading. I mean I know its the darker areas but I don't want it to look like a dark blob.
Thanks again

Ok
Maybe stick to one program for all of it, as then the image will look a bit better
I'm not great at shading either, but look at other styles and look what they did for shading, and just try it out on your artwork. Youll hopefully find one that sticks, or you might go back to none at all.
if youre shading in photoshop maybe turn the opacity of the brush way down and make the colour darker, so then its just a tiny bit but its there
yknow
just experiment and tbh if you like it everyone else should :3
its always good to get constructive criticism when you know how to take it :3
