I like to think that if my imagination were to explode out of my head and plaster itself all over reality, a large part of the result would look like this. ^___^
This picture makes me happy on so many levels. As others have said, it somewhat recalls a cross between Tim Burton and Hayao Miyazaki (in that order), only original and therefore more awesome. It's beautiful and spooky, dark yet enticing. Like some of Burton's best, it's a little whimsical (with the tree and butterflies and...are those lantern people?!) and at the same time a little menacing (with the crying thing and the ones with visible teeth). It's so...so...mrahg! There, I couldn't think of a word good enough, so I made one up. Analysis aside, I absolutely love it. The daily Deviation is certainly well-deserved!!

There are moments here in DA where I am in awe of the talent and dedication that is needed to produce such amazing art such as this piece.
I am a poet and I paint with my words and seeing such beauty as this, gives me inspiration to write more.
