"Yes...I remember better than most the horrors that man inflicted upon our kind..."

Very long ago, Púca was imprisoned underground by a human king who sought to use her abilities in order to grant him good fortune in his conquests. After every failed battle, he would hurt her, little by little wearing upon her mind, body, and soul, until she granted him good fortune. This cycle continued for a very long time, and Púca continued to languish for years after the king died until someone eventually found her and released her from her prison. The years of solitude and abuse, however, had already taken their toll. While Púca had survived the ordeal, her mind, unfortunately had not.

Púca's a little loopy. In any case, I thought I'd try something a little different to accommodate a major illustration, so I tried to emulate the shadows you'd see on a sculpture with a softer, more airbrushy tone than my usual cell shading. I kinda like it, actually.
