Many fans have argued that Bulk and Skull are the real main characters since. They stuck around longer than any of the Power Rangers, and they had a character arc where they went from stereotypical bullies to being legit heroes.
Also in In Space, they got to play off a mad scientist who was such a loony he made them look like the normal ones.
