Well actually I'm not sure if they ever cancelled Pyramid Head's inclusion yet they never confirmed it either. Abe's however was said to be just a rumor. So yeah.

but i'm still wanting him in. you know? sure i like all characters who are current PS characters. such as kratos, sweet tooth, radec. but Abe, crash, rayman and spyro (parrapa as well) are the ones who's taken me back to nostalgia.

What happened was the developer of Abe had a message posted on twitter but later he said it was fake that Abe was never confirmed.

So with logic would that mean that he was never cancelled either.

Pretty much what was said was Abe was cancelled then he said I never posted that and Abe was never confirmed to begin with which leaves us to wonder if he meant he was never planned or is yet to be approved.

Brawl has Abe even been on a Nintendo platform and I don't think Nintendo would go for him they want to attract kids and I think it was stated that they wouldn't focus on third party.

No by Brawl I didn't actually mean Super Smash Bros. Brawl, I meant the brawl going on at Playstation All-Stars; Abe (or any Oddworld game for that matter) has never been on Nintendo.
