So I created Red Flash. but I created other characters as well.1. Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat) - Dog Class
2. Scorpion (Mortal Kombat) - Wolf Class
3. Ichigo Kurosaki normal and mask (Bleach) - Wolf Class
4. Rukia Kuchiki (Bleach) - Cat Class
5. Freddy Fazbear (Five Nights at Freddy's) - Bear Class
6. Bonnie (Five Nights at Freddy's) - Rabbit Class
7. Chica (Five Nights at Freddy's) - Bird Class
8. Foxy (Five Nights at Freddy's) - Wolf Class
9. Buddy the Wolf (Sonic Forces) - Wolf Class
so that's it.

Yes, that was his original design. Hedgehogs aren't very fast after all and Sonic didn't even get his trademark spin dash until Sonic 2 so the first draft was a rabbit who could move quickly and jump on machines to destroy them.
