“Are you sure he said he’d be here today? It’s been 12 days already and there’s still no sign of him!” Switchback muttered,
“Yes Switch. Denali is always true to his word and where he says he’ll be, he’ll be. Don’t tell me you’re worried about him now hmm?” Schnee glanced back at the blue tiger who had slowed down a little,
“Wha- NO! Of course not! That old man slows us down half the time anyway! And his stories....yawn!” The tiger retorted quickly then looked away awkwardly.
Schnee just shook her head, rolling her eyes. “Come on Switch, now who’s being slow?”
Schnee broke into a steady jog as the tiger bounded to catch up.
The two continued on across the seemingly endless plain of thick grassland as the sun slowly crept down the sky.
Schnee’s ears perked up as she sensed something in one of the nearby valleys, she sniffed the air then stopped, a grin on her face.
“Hey Switch, go check over there would ya?” The tiger stared at her quizzically then huffed and wandered off towards the small ravine, peering over the edge and spotting Denali slowly gliding across the lake towards her,
“There. Just like he said.” Schnee said proudly as she walked up next to Switchback.
“Pssh, yeah well it’s about time!” Switchback snorted,
Schnee walked over and greeted Denali briefly then scrambled back up the slope and walked a little way away, scenting the air.
“Evening my friend” Denali gently said to Switchback, who simply stuck her tongue out at him.
“We are still on track Denali, I trust you managed to do what you needed to do?” The Arcanine called back,
Denali replied in a low rumble, “Yes Schnee, it is done.”
“Right then lets go!” Schnee barked then turned and started walking on,
Switchback fidgeted on the spot for a minute, looking awkward.
She waited for Schnee to move away a little before scurrying down the slope and gently rubbing her cheek on Denali’s muzzle.
She smiled for a second then pranced back up the slope, “Come on old man! You’ve slowed us down enough already! GEEZ!”
Denali smiled and shook his head before carefully climbing out of the water and up the bank to follow the two girls on across the grassland.

I hope my little blurb isn't too OOC for any of them!
And...I wasn't sure if Schnee and Switch both travelled with Denali together or not but I shoved them all together anyway!

Switchback is such a mush really, she's just too cool to show it most of the time >__>

(Schnee was supposed to be here too but every time I drew her she looked out of place in the composition)
