I'm glad you like Eluveitie, it's a great band. I was sure that the atmosphere of the sound from this band look alike at your inspiration.  You're welcome !

Inspiration... It;s hard to choose one band actually. But please try to listen to Arcana or Faun, maybe Dead Can Dance They can be specified as my inspiration

Noticed My favourite metal style is the melodic deathmetal, but i love to discover other style and band. Faun told me something... But never listened Arcana and Dead Can Dance for sure. Thank you.

(Just by chance, do you speak french ? )

Melodic deathmetal... Forgive me, but I am always confused when it comes to discussing music in the genres, Try Arcana, Dead Can Dance - and Lisa Gerrard or Brendan Perry This music is relaxing and full of magic.

(just by chance, speaking french is one of my biggest dreams in life and started learning 2 years ago, but still I don't feel confident about using it fluenty. Why do you ask?)

Melodic deathmetal are band like In flames, Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy, Children of Bodom... For example. ^^

It's noticed for your other suggestion.

(I ask because i'm french and not very good in english XD, and i noticed a photo name in french in your gallery)

Hm... I used to experiment with that kind of stuff, for example Crafle of Filth or Children Of Bodom.

You are french? Wow, I envy. I absolutely adore french history and culture

And btw... I haven't noticed Your problems with english at all

Communication in french would be quite difficult, but we can talk in german if You want to

Cradle of filth is a black metal band, it's a little different than melodic deathmetal because it's more oriented in epic sound, cruelty, satanism and religion. Melodic death metal is more oriented in expressionism, religions are rarely discussed and the sound is most melancolic. Metal styles are very complex to identify, and there are so many ones... >< I love the song "Nymphetamine" from Cradle, but If you like this band, there is one other band that i prefer, it's Dimmu Borgir. Their sound is really awesome : www.youtube.com/watch?v=onaF93…

Oui, je suis français. ^^ I never imagined that's so good to be french but thank you, it's pleasant to read that.

Forget german, it's impossible for me. ><

I'm currently listening Dead can dance - Anastasis album and it's really oneiric. I like it very much, it's very relaxing.

Btw. My nickname 'firepaved' comes directly from lyrics to "Nymphetamine". I have to admit, that this Cradle of Filth's longplay (this = with "Nymphetamine") is one of my favourite records.
I have many musical chapters. Starting with Mozart, through polish punk rock and rock, later across gothic and metal music, to the present days - new age, ethereal, neoclassical and folk

C'est magnifique! Come on, you've got marvellous art (not only medieval and neoclassical, but also XIXth and XXth century), amazing music (I will mention Edith Piaf, but by mentioning I am thinking about all french song tradition with this beautiful atmosphere) and great language. Ok, it' hard but still it's better to learn than polish, for instance.

You are welcome.

You have a very mixed musical path, mine always stayed around metal since i was 12. Started with legendary bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Nirvana, Sepultura...  After, I've got a big period with Marylin Manson from his debut until Holy wood album, since i oriented me to the Deathmetal and some new tendencies (cyber metal, industrial, metalcore...). But maybe it's like i speack chinese with all this kind of metal style. ><

If you like rock stuff and atmospheric music, I have a french post rock band that i'm sure you shoud like, named Alcest :
www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOosWr…

www.youtube.com/watch?v=waGDKn…

Very beautiful and emotional songs for me.

I think you like more french art and traditional music than me (and many french guys). XD
It isn't that i don't like, but I did not realize a lot. Maybe if you show me some of your polish art or traditional songs, I could have the same feeling as you for your country. ^^

(*If you want, i have a Google+ account where i share some music, and others things that i like : www.google.com/+FemtoTheGodHan…

Who haven't listened to Nirvana? Come on, Kurt Cobain was something like religion... Receltly, I started going back to that times... And I doscovered Pearl Jam (shame on me), but music is one of its kind, so I doubt that I will stop developing in musical way.

As I said before, I don't like talking about music from the perspective of genres. I am always feeling confused
Recently, I came back to listening Manson. I think his discography after "The Golden Age of Grotesque" is... hm... maybe not so good as it used to be. I adore his covers of Depeche Mode. They are great. Plus videos: atmosphere of "mOSCENE" or "Personal Jesus" is perfect. I love it.

Hm... Polish music... When I think of what I could show You, I would definitely want you to check Behemoth and Riverside. They are absolutely great. Lunatic Soul - the individual project of Riverside's vocalist is also worth watching. I would also recommend "Żywiołak"...  www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCd8xV… if You like folk.

But Poland is not only rock music... It is very beautiful coutry, but I have feeling that our "PR" in Europe is quite disappointing or doesn't exist at all... But recently they made quite good advertisement... vimeo.com/110571931

(I don't have google+ account,sorry )

About Manson, i think the best of him is in "Antichrist Superstar". I stopped to listen him after the "Holy Wood" album. Like you said, Manson become not so good than he was. :/

I know Behemot, their sound is really awesome ! But it's really brutal too, compared to Riverside it's competely an other world. XD
I listen sometime folk stuff, but most in metal style, like Eluveitie (band you know now ) or In Extremo :
vimeo.com/23465926

Very good band !

Your country look so epic and magic with this advertising. I'm sure it's a very beautiful country, you already show me some of its richness with your photos, I also know now women are very beautiful there.

I remember when I was a stupid teenager and I saw (oh gods, on MTV!) Manson's "Tainted love" version. I fell in love. It was great.

I know In Extremo very good and I really like them. Btw. the german folk scene is very interesting. Bands like Faun, In Extremo, Qntal, Helium Vola and Lacrimosa.

My country has fascinating history, culture, nature and art, but still is very poor-ruled and with bad PR and (unfortunately) very strong position of catholic church and awful politics without any culture, education or ideas.
I am very glad that You liked these short advertisement. Personally, I think that video is cute. Oh, and by the way, I live in the city with dragon

I think i am a little most older than you (~10 years ^^') because first time i see Manson it was on a video in VHS, a concert of the "Antichrist Superstar" period. It was only few months later where he make a big buzz on french media (and all around the world i think). I loved to see some of his interviews, because he talked everytime like a very brillant and calculating man. He has manipuled his image like a god to become a big star. If i have to choose a song from Manson... I think i choose "The man that you fear" : www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rthl_O…

Maybe you should like the band named "In this moment" ? Their last album "Blood" remember me a little Manson atmosphere :
www.youtube.com/watch?v=GurkRE…
www.youtube.com/watch?v=8b8Wo-…
www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXMfdp…
The voice of Maria Brink is just awesome !

I don't know (for the moment ) Qntal and Helium Vola, but next year i should see In extremo at the Hellfest in France ( www.hellfest.fr/fr/artistes/ )

OK, i understand a little more how is it in your country. Religions in France are more diversified, and everyone believe in what they want... I'm atheist and no one try to force me to believe in a religion.

If you see a Dragon over your window, can you shoot him for me, please ? ^^ Please, show me a dream.

Music videos on VHS - right now it's practically a history. But I remember video 100%, so maybe I am not so small

I have to admit I didn't hear anything from "In this moment", exception - these three song, that you showed me.

Qntal and Helium Vola with Faun and Dunkelshon are my favourite folk bands. Btw. it's strange that Europeans have slightly different definition of folk music than people from USA. For them folk is when a guy sings only with accompaniment of guitar and he has just experienced some king of weird illumination

Wooow! I just looked at lineup and started feeling jealous Maybe not only because of the bands, because I don't know all of them, but I observe the phenomenon of west-european music festivals. There are houndreds of good quality bands in one place in the same time. And in Poland... better not mention it.

Question about faith is hard for me. I would say I am also an atheist, but still I am not convinced that spiritual side does not exist at all. I don't believe in one old man in the sky, but I am not sure if I don't believe in, for instance, Goddess such as Mother Nature or slavic gods. My coutry is full of forgotten slavic magic, so It's hard.

Haha, when a dragon stops by, I would picture it for You Unfortunately I have the feeling that he seems tired these days, because he looks like this: krakowturysty.com.pl/wp-conten…

I have 33 years old, and I think you have around 23-26 years old, I'm good ? It's not small, just younger.

Ok, in your favourites folk bands some are oriented in electro stuff, but I prefer Faun and Dunkelshon who sound most traditional. I think the difference between Europe and USA is the nature of their traditional party. I mean folk for the USA look like country music, and for us is most oriented in medieval stuff. But maybe i'm wrong, I'm not sure.

The Hellfest has only 10 years, but it's a very popular event in France now. It will be the first time I'll go there and I'm already happy because 3 of my favourites bands will be there too (In Flames, Dark Tranquillity and Arch Enemy). Why not you move to France ?

I'm not convinced that spiritual side does not exist at all too, you know. I have heard many things about spiritual experiences, and I think maybe ghost or spirits can exist, I haven't the proof of the contrary, anyway.

Wow, it's a dragon statue spitting flames ! Never seen this kind of thing in France... For us, it is rather mundane fountains. ><

You are right. I am in the middle of these numbers, but still I feel older than I am in reality. Luckily, I look like a girl so everything stays in balance

I agree with You, but when I thinkg about american folk, picrued for example in films like "Inside Llewyn Davis" or "Sugarman" I cannot deny, that this american folk is full of charm. In Poland we have got something like that, but we are calling it "sung poetry".

I would love to move to France, I really would. But I have the feeling, that I need to be better at french. And there is another reason... Although I have always dreamed about living in France (and have lavender field in the South), I have the premonition that I left my heart in Scotland. I am permanently in love with this culture and charm of this place. I miss it very much. So, maybe one day, when I will have billions on my account, I could divide my time in Provence (in winter) and in Scotland (in summer)

It is good not to get closed and allow different solutions of the spiritual problem. It always makes me laugh, when I hear somebody who tries to convince me that there is only ONE, HOLY TRUTH. Unfortunately all of the biggest world realigions do so...

Our dragon is one of its kind, that's for sure
