i had this idea of twilight flying up “to celestia” and her duties as a princess”, but she was slightly anxious and worried and unwilling to leave her friends and-

nevermind. no one wants to listen to my rambling, anyways.

so basically this was born out of the RUMORS (at the time) that there was gonna be alicorn princess Twilight!! it’s original title was gonna be “Ascension” - ascending to higher places in which she holds more power as an alicorn.

except now those rumors aren’t so much rumors as they are fact. and see the thing that’s the most irritating is that the EW article with all the info KEPT USING THE WORD “ASCENSION” ARGHHHH so now I feel stupid naming this piece “ascension” blarghhh whatever

(btw this is my own idea of what she might look like, some obvious symbolism's been thrown in there for your amusement)

her expression was kinda hard but I think it's alright (I'm gonna make a smiling version later too lol) xD
