Description
This has been a long time coming, taking far longer than expected, but this is my Empire's version of the Galactic Empire's Imperial II Class Star Destroyer. For those that are curious I have a more advanced lore segment and description below.

Advanced Description:

Following the successful retrofitting of the Venator Star Destroyer into UED service, the next design to be tackled by Dracanis Armatech would be the Imperator II, the second of three designs stolen from Kuat Drive Yards. Whereas the redesign of the Venator had been a means to realize underutilized potential, featuring sweeping changes in doctrinal use and implementation, the Imperator II redesign was a refinement of the already decent groundwork put forth by Kuat Drive Yards, but shored up several weaknesses inherent in the design and added UED technology to make it a far more potent and diversely capable warship. One of the most visually distinct change being the implementation of UED standardized armour paneling in all of the trench lines of the Imperator, shoring up severe weakpoints and covering the sensitive equipment nestled within them. This change however, does sacrifice a good portion of the Imperator's casement mounted Turbolasers in the process, these weapons being replaced with more individually potent medium turrets dotted on the surface of the ventral and dorsal hulls. In addition to this, every weapon system was replaced with a UED equivalent, or new weapons added in available spaces, making the overall weapon's complement of the UED Imperator actually less numerous than the Imperial counterpart, but far more individually potent, balanced, and diverse.

  Another shored up weakness was the lack of point defense coverage, rectified with an extremely liberal placement of flak cannons dotted along the surface of the hull and superstructure in towers or barbettes, as well as flak artillery being placed on the bridge superstructure, making the UED Imperator far more suited to countering close-in fighter engagements and defending itself against guided munitions. The Galactic Standard Hyperdrive was also replaced with UED equivalents, with two armoured pieces of superstructure placed in the rear most section of the main trenchline, protecting the Hyperdrive's Event Horizon Emitters, with the normal jump engines nestled between the sublight drives in the rear being replaced with large radiator fins, supporting the new Multi-Stage Fusion Reactor nestled in the ship's core, providing primary power to it's various systems.

  The hangar bay systems were also overhauled for UED design and purposes, the clamps used for the deployment of TIE fighters, which lacked a landing gear, being replaced with more contemporary equipment for UED fighter craft, namely the X1G2 T-Wing Starfighter/Bomber. With the UED's use of Droid Starfighters in it's doctrine the fighter count was able to be raised from 72 fighters, to 140, with the majority being stored within racks above the 14 Electromagnetic VLS Tubes on either side of the main hangar opening, with the hangar doors meant for retrieval, as well as the storage, and the deployment of piloted Squadron Leader Starfighters, with each squadron consisting of 1 piloted craft, to 9 Droids. The launch tubes however could also be used to deploy combat mechs or drop pods directly from orbit in support of ground operations, with the rest of it's extensive onboard ground contingent of infantry Battledroids, tanks, artillery, and other materiel being stored and deployed via a vast fleet of transports and gunships from the secondary hangar closer to the bow of the ship.

  Various other changes were made to the design of the Imperator II, overhauling it's sensor and communications systems, deflector shields, command and control equipment, as well as it's internal repulsor thruster arrays, giving the UED equivalents a far greater degree of maneuverability than Imperial counterparts. The design's success fully cemented Star Destroyers as the mainstays of United Empire fleet formations and doctrine in ways that the previous Venator, and later Praetor II conversions would not have been able to achieve on their own. Reforming the class 'Star Destroyer', into a league of ships all of their own, with later design generations of starships being formed first and foremost by the Star Destroyers of their eras, often the test-beds of new technologies, design principles, and fleet doctrines. Because of this, the Star Destroyer under UED doctrines became the most individually potent and technologically advanced warships available to their forces, shaping the fates of many empires and civilizations they would come across for generations to come.
