Description
This is a perspective view for the first commission I have done, with both a flight position, and a landed position. They wanted a custom V-19 Torrent Starfighter and I went the extra mile, creating an alternate universe version for if it had been designed by Incom rather than the original designers Slayn and Korpil. The story of the Z-19 is Incom creating a brand new fighter at the outbreak of the Clone Wars, looking to improve upon the older Z-95 Headhunter, the Z-19 fills a unique role as a Heavy Interceptor, being incredibly fast in a straight vector it can charge ahead at great speeds, relying on a mix of maneuverability and it's heavy shields to protect it, although in exchange for it's ability to maneuver it trades a great deal of armour, making it vulnerable when it's shields fail. It also possesses a superior armament to the older Z-95, having an extra, more modern Blaster Cannon as well as two proton torpedo tubes mounted in the nose to give it a small amount of strike capability. Out of universe I also wanted it to be a middle design between the Z-95, and the later X-Wing, having some design elements of both incorporated into it.
