I'm not sure if the whole funhouse idea was communicated effectively by my less-than-stellar artwork, but I think the main idea--fear--might have come through a little better. Other than that, I couldn't have had a better time with this one *^_^* It finally showcases Danny, for one, and I got to put a lot more of my favorite characters in it--Vlad, Lancer, Skulker, and Johnny 13's Bad Luck Shadow. Drawn with Prismacolour pencils, then colored in digitally with a Wacom Graphire tablet.Danny Fenton/Phantom, Vlad Masters/Plasmius, Mr. Lancer, Dash Baxter, Dan Phantom, Skulker, and the Bad Luck Shadow are copyrighted to Butch Hartman.

I'm sure you will. hey. Who are you favorite supporting characters and villains? As in besides Danny and his friends and Vlad and Dark Danny.

Actually, I'm not too keen on Dark Danny as a villian....but I am keen on Eric Roberts.
Let's see. If I had to pick a favorite villain, it would probably have to be Skulker. I really miss his old voice actor, but I love the idea of the hunter as a character. I also really like Johnny 13 and Kitty--they're really funny. I also really liked Dora the Dragon Ghost in the episode Beauty Marked--it was neat to see another side of her.
As supporting good guys go, no one beats Jazz. She's a great character; she's clever, and for the first half of the story, it's very interesting to see things through her eyes, both when she didn't know Danny's secret, and again when he didn't know she knew. Jazz is great, and there are lots of episodes that really let her shine.
I have a soft spot for Cujo the Ghost Dog, too, and also for Wulf in Public Enemies. I think Mr. Hartman and his team created incredibly deep characters--there are so many directions the story can and does go in, no matter where you start from.

Yeah. Skulker's old voice was a lot funnier. While I agree on your points on Jazz I was mostly talking about outside his two best friends and family. Yeah Wulf was a good one and Cujo was amusing.
Outside of Key villains my favorite would have to be Vortex the weather controlling ghost. One of the main reasons I like him is because he really challenges Danny much like Undergrowth did.
The possibilities are endless.

This is one of my earliest pieces; back then I wasn't too confident in my background-drawing abilities. The concept I was going for was originally funhouse mirrors, but I settled for the middle line acting as a reflector between Danny's human life and his ghost life. Which is not meant to imply that they are two separate entities, since they certainly are not--he is one person.

I have to agree. The concept for this pic is great. Absolutely terrific! And in regards to the "less than stellar artwork", I can tell who's who with no effort involved. So that right there is a definate plus. =^_^= The creativity could definately win some contests.

I kinda wondered what good a pelt like Danny's would be at the foot of Skulker's bed.
For one thing, Danny's pelt wouldn't really cover enough to even be considered in the range of a blanket.
That, and does Skulker really sleep in his battle-suit?

A pelt like Danny's might be throw-rug sized, now that I think about it. Skulker could always talk shop with Vlad--he seems to know a lot about taxidermy.
Come to think of it, what size would Skulker's bed be? Without the battle suit, he's quite the pipsqueak (although to mention such to him would probably result in immediate chase and capture, followed by a rather painful beheading and subsequent wall display...)
