I finally convinced my daughter, Lujayn, to let me manually drive The Nebula Weaver. It was a good flight until I saw a interesting planet and asked Lujayn to look and see if it was cataloged in the Galactic Plantery Catalog. To my delight it was not!

I engaged in the landing sequenced that I had learned in ship driving classes that I had took in my youth. But upon entry we was attacked by one of the local flying animal life. The Nebula Weaver had substantiated a considerable amount of damage to her haul. Lujayn started the emergency procedure as I was, to put it in Lujayn's words, freaking out.

Lucky for us and the planet we was to soon explore, Lujayn is much better pilot then I am with her many years of experience, she found a spot to land us safely that wouldn't injure the wildlife. A large deserted bowl like depression in a forest.

We soon landed and the repair-bots started to swarm out of their storage’s to start on the repairs. Lujayn and I left our ship in their capable hands. Ignoring my daughters hard look I pulled out my writing tablet and began to cross the dirt bowl.

As interesting as our landing spot was there was much to explore beyond our ship. We would have plenty of time to thoroughly examine the place at a later date. As I stepped over the crust of the bowl I was shocked in awe of the immediate difference that had happened. Form nothing to almost too much forest.

I heard shifting by my feet and as I looked down I saw two moving blue mushrooms. The smaller most likely a off shoot of the larger one. I knelt down to get a closer look as I herd a odd sound be hind me and my daughters annoyed sigh.

Looks like it will be another adventure for us on a new world again.
