This is Baby, my friends cat
Isn't she beautiful? My friend Kendra's friend Chelsey used to own this lovely little sweetheart, but gave her up to Kendra because she was pregnant (and they never paid the money to get her fixed so she kept getting pregnant) and Chelsey and her mother were going to take her to the pound to be put down. Kendra said NO WAY!! and took her in. She is happily living the high life as a queen in Kendra's house

Aww! Cute story, cute cat! I had one just like this named smokey but we had to put him down because he was sick. and we had barley got him. he didnt even spend a night with us..thats how sick he was.

Yeah, my friend is the neighborhood 'cat lady'. Stray cats come to her house to stay for a while and then move on. They take in cats (such as this one plus two others that just randomly showed up) so they just couldn't turn her away.
I'm so sorry to hear about your Smokey though...that's so very sad. What did he have that made him so sick?

They're total cat people anyway, so it's only natural that they'd take in cats!!

I worry about my old man cat every winter. He's so old (about 17 we estimate-though still going strong) that the cold winter could just sweep him away and I'd never know where he went.
