That's looking so adorable?? Especially the textures and how the highlights looks like real paint slathered on top holy shit that's neatΒ

Anytime!! <3
It surely looks great! And I'm glad to hear you're experimenting! That gives the /best/ results that much I can say!

I agree completely!! Experimenting is so fun!

In fact I was just telling someone the other day that improvement is all based in stepping outside of your comfort zone!

Oh agree! You have to walk so far out of your comfort zone that you forget your way back!
And sometimes you make those things you never would've come up with and they just look so /good../!Β

Absolutely!! Tho the worst part is when you do a ton of experimenting, come up with something awesome then promptly forget how you did it three days later. Happened to me on a handful of dynamic jumping poses I did a while back, haha! Gosh darn it I'll figure out how I did them one of these days. Maybe I should start putting notes on my practice sketches

Oh gosh yes right?? I keep having this thing where I look at old sketchbooks and go "HOW DID I DRAW THIS, YOUNG DOC TELL ME YOUR SECRETS"
and I'd have to go on an epic quest to find out how exactly I posed lines like that.

The putting notes thing is a rather clever idea! ..Not to mention, it adds up to a great aesthetic as well!

Me too!! I recently redrew something that had one of my favorite poses I've ever done and i was just like gjdfknbkjdfn how do i recreATE THIS >WEEPS HYSTERICALLY< && spent two hours trying to recreate it via any means necessary. I even tried to trace it at one point and was like "tHAT loOKS AwFU L BACK TO sqUARE ONE"

Right though!! I think I'm gonna start trying to do that! Maybe also c/p some progress so I have less cases of paragraph aboveΒ  Β

legit question how do you do purple/pink and green together so well when they inherently clash AGSHJKFDSSAKJF
