Zuko mid-stance during "the Dancing Dragon".

I haven't seen a new Avatar epi since Day of Black Sun first aired, then I went off to Japan and was completely confused about what the hell Nick was doing airing episodes in countries other than the US first... So I held off for a while (in utter despair). Alas, the time has come, and I am thoroughly enjoying the week-long burst of new episodes and series finale.... (It's so nice to have Avatar back in my life!)

So, like a raging fangirl, I couldn't help but to draw something Avatardy tonight... So, here's the beginnings of my first *official* Avatar fanart (took me long enough, eh?)

I plan on coloring with my O-so-holy copic markers... and it's inked that way because I'm doing a backlighting (i.e. the way the back of the hair is).

I will probably have this done before the comet arrives...
