My Zuko cosplay debuting at Otakon 2008.I
Zuko so much, and I had huge urges to cosplay Avatar after the series finale! I wanted to show off my Avatard-ness! I made this costume in under 2 weeks... while working on my other costume and still going to work >.< It was hectic. But I love this costume. I made everything

This costume was a little rushed, so I just used basic cotton broadcloths for it. Not that broadcloth is bad to use, plus it is available in lots of different colors. Some nicer fabrics you could try are cotton/polyester blend, cotton/raylon blend, or some types of linen. But broadcloth is easy to find and made in many colors, so I often use it for costumes

People have asked me about them before, so I decided to make a quick tutorial.

Unlike most boot cover tutorials, these covers don't have a center seam, which I think makes them more like real boots

It's funny you mention that, my friend just dropped his copies of the first two season for me to borrow. So I'll definitely be watching them one way or another. I have another friend who lent me all the seasons of Teen Titans as well. I have a lot of stuff to watch @____@

I was really surprised since neither of us mentioned to each other yet we we're Avatar fans. But very pleasantly surprised! The way you made the weapons was impressive! I want a set!!

I've been a long time fan of Avatar! lol. SURPRISE!
At first I forgot that his two swords fit together into one sheath, so when I looked at screenshots, I was like, "Damn, now I have to make two swords!" Two swords + time crunch = BAD. But it actually wasn't that bad at all. Just a bit more time with the saw
