Amazing! Wwas it difficult to get that shot of the Lightning Bolt. Those things are hard to get.

Lightning is literally hit and miss. Pick a nice spot, frame the shot, set it up with a long exposure (10-30 sec depening on other lights and your camera) and click...and wait... and click...and wait...and click and wait and if your really luck at some point the lightning will go BANG somewhere in the frame.

That was only 1 of 2 out of 40 odd photos that actually had anything in it.

You can set up everything else BUT the lightning so there is a lot of luck and patience involved.

Gee. . . Never knew it would be like that. I don't take a lot of photos, but but I've been wanting to of Lightning. Thanks for the tip.

Amazing shot! Though that orange light in the left corner is a bit distracting. But still very cool!

I kind of like the contrast in colours but it's east enough to remove if I really wanted to... Biggest problem I had was my headlights blew and couldn't go very far.

I only had about 10 mins before the rain hit heavily. No umbrella or anything, I took off my tshirt to try and protect the camera a bit longer, using 15-20sec exposurs this was about the 15th shot.
