This is step by step how i draw background for my comic, Aluca. Since the world setting is fantasy, and has more gloomy mood, i used purple-blue a lot on my comic ^^

Recommend software : Manga studio/ CSP
Tool brush i used :
- pen tool for solid coloring
- watercolor for blending
- cloud brush
- leaves brush. i prefer leaves than grass for the hills
- blur tool
