Gods, this IS getting out of hand ain't it? XDSpring, because Irvy and Selphie met each other when they were kids, so in their youth (get it? Spring = renewal yada yada). And that's a hanging tyre swing XP Think of that Sixpence None The Richer song, kay? XD
I think this pic looks gross 0_o Just doesn't look right... Irvy looks weird, and Selphie looks old...

I hope you don't mind getting comments on pieces that are, like, five years old but, but this is one of my favorite pieces. I love how you use pencils. That tire swing seems perfect for them, and their feet are really cute

Haha, it still amazes me that people still think that all my old stuff is good compared to my newer works! I guess it's the content? I haven't drawn any FF8 for almost 3 years now...

I feel the same way with some of my older work and I think you're right, it has a lot to do with the content, especially with fanart.
I'm the opposite, hands are easy for me, I just have trouble with feet XD

Selphie has a beautifull face, she's so fantastic. Nomura' design is really hard sometimes, harder with FF VIII >.< ( sorry for my english ^^' )

I find that FFVIII's designs are quite simple but effective. I think FFXII has more complex designs.

The style is very unique, but at the same time I think it's really true to the "true" way that the characters are supposed to look. I see a lot of fan art that is obviously a character drawn in the particular artists style. There's nothing wrong with that, but at the same time it makes me feel a bit weird looking at the thing. But I think that this work of your is pretty close to the "real" thing, even though it is obviously your style and is something I've yet seen from other artists.
The idea itself is great, and I love how it's just the ink (right?) and the background yellow/green.
It looks very nice, I feel.

Thank you. I was just trying to make the characters look real. Yea, this one took me longer because of the poses and trying to get the right shade of green and yellow that would bring out the freshness of spring.
I did all these in pencils. Could never do it in pen XP

Well, every single one of this series is amazing. They're all so gorgeous and touching. THe pencil lines are wonderful, and the detail is stunning. This one is my favorite, I think, because these two are so cute and you've portrayed them so well. I plan on +faving them all, but I only wanted to comment on one (blame laziness and a need to get to bed). Wonderful job, these are honestly an inspiration.

I'm just totally amazed at how BEAUTIFUL and wonderful your works are.
