Description
More of mine and TwitchyStitch's idea for Kirika in a Borderlands setting. I've sort of been sitting on this for a while.Still not dead! But I did have some significant internet issues, I just have a few overdue commissions to put the finishing touches on and stuff will be back in the swing of things.
2015 has been a rough and strange year.

Certainly a very unique look - I would have not have expected a Borderlands/Eiken crossover, she certainly looks the part. I just love how confidently she wields that cannon, her outfit looks very cool too.

I'm really liking what you've done with her design!
I like the particular size you got for Kirika here, for a more serious or at least less over-the-top sexual thing than Eiken was. (Borderlands is FANTASTICALLY over the top in all the best ways, but Eiken's sexual aspects honestly make me somewhat uncomfortable. Kirika is literally the best thing to come out of it, she deserves her own show or at least an OVA where she punches giant monsters as the result of a destructive bet with alien landlords.) This bust size, it's big, but a realistic kind of big.
The color scheme is nice; it actually took me a moment to realize that's her canon color scheme, just adapted for Borderland's aesthetic. It's a very nice look; I really love that vest shirt thingy she's got. I don't know what it is about super-tall purple haired girls with big curves who must specifically have yellow shirts, but dang if it hasn't worked out well.
Also, she's got some good and beefy shoulders; guess that's a plus side of lugging around rocket launchers all day, even if they're mostly stored in the SDU! Or just a result of living on Pandora for a while and not dying. Crazy scavenger worlds build up the muscles; it's a science fact and junk.
I just really like what you've done with Kirika, especially outfit-wise; it's a really great look and I just love seeing what you do with this idea we've worked out!
The rising sun bandana is also a nice touch. It sort of suggests some character elements to look into. Maybe she's actually from Earth and Japan, or her ancestors are and she's adopted as a kind of Earth nostalgia. Or she just likes how it looks and wears it without really knowing about it's significance.
Also: BORDERLANDS IS AWESOME. I'm currently playing the game on and off, going from character to character. I like Axton's skill, because I FEAKING LOVE TURRETS, but I find Axton himself to get a little less fun. Salvador is a ton of fun, but Krieg and Gaige are definitely my favorites for the different playing styles their skills can establish.

I'm still not really sold on the whole 'shrinking Kirika's boobs' thing, but I do agree she'd do well in this setting.

Eiken and Borderlands are two franchises I never expected to see put together.
But I suppose there have been more surprising combinations.

I finished the main story of BL2 a few months back and have been meaning to get back to the DLC with my friend, the tiny Tina D&D stuff seems awesome.

I guess its more desert punk, diesel punk? Borderlands is a weird universe.

Eh, it's more the umbrella term.

I generally consider cyberpunk to be more based around virtual reality, hacking, and megacity utopia/dystopia stuff. The Matrix, Shadowrun, or Aeon Flux, that sort of thing.
Borderlands has some aspects of those things, but it really is just a mishmash of different themes and designs. Though stuff like Mad Max is clearly an inspiration.
I don't mean to sound rude or overly technical, I just think about this sort of thing a lot. I need to read more books.
