I have the SAME teddy bear as the one in this photo, I'm not even kidding! Mine looks exactly like this too, lol, and I still sleep with him next to me every night since my parents bought him for my first Christmas back in 1986 <3 This is so nostalgic to me!

...did yours ever have a red bowtie? Mine came with a red bowtie but i chewed it off when i was like 2 LOL. Funnily enough mine was given to me on my first Christmas...WHICH WAS ALSO XMAS 1986 O_O

I have a stuffed lion (cubby Cimba actually from the Lion King, but i wanted her to be a girl so I named her Kiahra [sp] but didn't know how to spell i, so I wrote it Ceara, lol). I've had her since the day before Christmass way way back when I ws three years old and have had her ever since. She's so worn down now that she's no longer fluffy, her beanbag body is so flimsy, she's got sticky stains of black something clumped on the bottom of one foot that I have not the slightest idea what it is (lol) but has been there so long, I barely notice, her mouth of covered and burried somewhere beneath what's left of her fur, and the paint on her eyes are so chipped and scratched that they're almost nonexistant any more. But needless to say, she still sits by my bed if not on it, and I'd never trade her for all the money in the world.

aww :3 I don't think there are any stains on Teddy, but he's certainly worse for wear b/c of how many times he had to go through the wash x_x. I had problems with throwing up constantly when I was younger, and teddy was always right there xD

Ceara had gone with me everywhere up to the point I was seven, but even then I took her anywhere important or special like to Drive-In Movies and to see fireworks shows. Out of nostalgia, I usually still put her in the back window of the car when I go see fireworks now. XD haha
I remember so much that she'd gone through. Even being dropped in a creek after jumping over! I cried my eyes out thinking she was absolutely ruined and my mother brought me to some special cleaners and used all the money we could scrape up to get her washed. Besides that, my mother used to wash her all the time for me by hand, granted she was always still dinggy and she couldn't get everything out. It still meant the world to me and still does.

I'll always love my teddy no matter how ratty he gets xD. I probably slept with him until I was like 13
