I had 3 profiles of dA and I never could use thumbs, but magically I can use stamps and even post art! Its like magic!
And I used it on my older profile to see and it worked too!

I'm not sure. I've seen some people who are non Premium say they can use thumb codes no problem, but I always thought you had to have a PM to be able to do so. So..if you can use the thumb code, yay! otherwise I have no idea
