any image file can be used as a desktop wallpaper

When I right-click the image it doesn't say anything about setting a desktop background.
And when I right click my desktop wallpaper (my current one) it says that it can only be JPG, JPEG, BMP, or DIB.

What browser are you using? What operating system is on your computer? (Windows XP, Vista, a Mac, etc)

Either way though all you need to do is open the png in an image editing software like MSPaint, Photoshop, etc and simply re-save the image as a a supported file format like JPEG, etc. The issue with JPG or JPEGs is that they have crap quality. They often make things fuzzy.
