A collaboration I did with . She did the pencils and I was so in love with them I asked if I could have a go at the colors. She kindly agreed. I only wish I could have come up with a better background.Rufio from the movie Hook, played by the adorable Dante Basco.
Colors done in Photoshop 5.0 with an Aiptek tablet.

*droooooooool* I remember I used to have a huge crush on Rufio when I watched the movie so many years ago, how would I know that many years later I would fall for another great character, Zuko from Avatar: the Last Airbender, voiced by the same boy who stole my heart? Yay Dante!

Fate is so funny that way. I remember I always wanted Rufio to have a much larger role. And I was simply livid at his ultimate fate (don't want to spoil it for any Hook virgins out there, but it was simply horrible!). I must admit, though, that everytime I see a picture of Dante I find myself a little disappointed by the lack of black and red spikey hair. LOL

I was just watching part of Hook today and was wishing Dante was in it more. Of course, I wish that every time I see it. Other than the part where Peter first shows up and they're training him and the big tragic fight at the end, he really doesn't have much screen time. Which is a shame. They really could have developed his character into something special if they'd given him the time. Mais, c'est la vie.
