My hair goes through this vicious cycle... It's poofy and frizzy, then I straighten it and it's fine, but the heat makes it MORE poofy and frizzy afterwards.

My hair would get like that too. I used to straighten it... but then... I realized that it also caused... hair loss
I'm hoping if I shave a part of my head, the hair that grows back will be all nice and healthy. ;u;

That's what I'm hoping, too... I fried it to crap a few years ago from dying it too much. Then I chopped almost all of it off last summer in a pixie cut. Now I'm trying to grow it out again so I can do that cool beach wavy thingy. I like that little part shaved, because when I go applying to jobs and college and all that junk, I'll just wear my hair down and no one can tell the difference!
