Wow, this takes me back, the slime pit was an actual He-man toy, i never had it myself (Never quite understood the point of making toys all dirty

I did have the toy, but I don't really remember playing with it, so its single gimmick must not have been very fun!

The single gimmick was literally "Cover your He-man figures in slime", even back then, 30 years ago, i wondered what the appeal in that was.

He-Man toys in general looked great but weren't very fun to actually play with. Maybe the concept was just too high.

From what i remember, He-man figures didn't have many joints, so posing was limited, i was more of a "GI Joe" and "M.A.S.K." kind of kid, myself, and those toylines compensated for the figures' limitations by having awesome vehicles.

It's true, the scale of M.A.S.K. and G.I. Joe made vehicles a big focus, and playing with tanks and cars and jets is much simpler than playing with fish men and sorceresses.
