Description
For the N64 20th anniversary tribute atThis piece took me a lot longer than it should have because I agonize over little details when the work is 90% complete XD
I learned a few new techniques during this project that will be a big help on several other unfinished works/commissions.
Love it or hate it, Conker was a defining title in the N64's library. I remember being excited for the game when it was Twelve Tales,
but I'm glad it evolved into BFD, purely for how memorable it is. For some reason, Haybot's "time to wander around" quote has
always stuck with me, so I decided to illustrate the big guy for the console's anniversary.

BFD certainly stood out among the N64 games, the humor was really great, and the amount of risky stuff that Nintendo actually left intact is astounding. And even though many later games tried to emulate it's style (Naughty Bear or Fairytale Fights to name a few), it's still the best at it.
As for the piece, that's one hell of a depiction for a character such as him. Never before was a blob of hay lookin' so damn badass (well yeah, I know he's a Terminator under all that hya, but you know what I mean XD). I especially love his expression.

Thanks! Since it's the console's anniversary, I wanted to do something unique, and I didn't think anyone would pick Haybot as their subject.
It's still amazing that the N64 version of BFD is less censored than the XBOX remake. I'll also add that both of those games are some of the best looking titles on their respective platforms.

Oh yes, it definitely is a unique piece ^^ and drawing obscure characters, especially as awesomely as you do, is something I always support ^^
And yead, Live & reloaded looked better, and had some tweaks here and there (like being able to jump while holding a gun), but the censorship was just so ridiculous... especially since Nintendo, of all companies left it intact... the same company that censors just about anything they deem "inappropriate" even to this day, and they have left BFD untouched XD
