Appearance: The Fink’s genetics have always been historically bland. With pale skin coupled with brown hair and eyes, no one could pick any of the Fink clan out of a crowd. What’s worse is that the youngest Fink also happens to be tiny, barely reaching five feet. Being of average looks and build left Riley’s visage a pretty blank canvas for her to improve upon. Much to her dismay, the only distinguishing feature on Riley is her buck teeth. It’s been an uphill battle to try to stand out without drawing attention to her over-sized pearly whites, and the only way to do that is to draw the eye to everything else. Her desperation to be different had her tailoring her own clothes at a young age. This is where her love of designing clothes began, usually wearing outrageously loud and colorful numbers to stick out of a crowd. Recently Riley has decided to dye her hair to match her loud outfits. Falling between her shoulder blades: Riley's boring straight brown hair has been transformed into bright purple, with streaks of blue and pink just to make it all the more ostentatious. She tries her best to hide her farmer’s tan that never seems to want to go away, and will never be seen without heavy makeup to hide her ‘dullness’.

Personality: Riley is the youngest in a hoard of 13 children, spawned by two very tired, very burned out farmers. As such she had to get inventive if she was ever going to be noticed. Acting out and throwing tantrums was an easy and immediate way to get all eyes on her, unfortunately it’s a lesson she has carried with her to adulthood. Suffice to say Riley is a brat. She loves the limelight and has a bit of a selfish streak to her. It isn’t necessarily malicious by nature, but more careless in design. Riley’s ambitions are always in the forefront of her mind, and if she accidentally stomps on someone else to get to them, it’s not something she’d immediately notice.

A firecracker in every sense of the word, the boisterous girl refuses to back down even if it’s in her best interest. This causes her some problems especially since she doesn’t know when to quit. At times Riley will realize mid-argument that she was wrong, but continue to argue anyway because she doesn’t want to foolishly lose. Her larger than life nature reflects in her physicality as well: being crammed in with a dozen siblings did nothing for her respect of personal space. Hugs when greeting strangers is commonplace, leaning or hanging off of friends is constant.

If anything positive can be said about Riley, it’s that she’s fiercely ambitious and outgoing. This leads her to being a fun friend, even if she’s simply a fair-weather companion. She’s willing to try anything new, since most of her life has been restricted to her farm. As much as she hates to admit it, (and emphatically won’t,) Riley is woefully naive to the outside world and will do just about anything to rectify that. Wily and adventurous, Riley is a trip if you have the patience for someone who has a lot of growing up to do.

Background: For generations the Fink clan has lived on a modestly sized farmland, tucked away on Anura Island. Of course, the farmhouse still felt too small with all the family members crammed into every nook and cranny. Riley’s mother and father married happy and young, and because of that fact had plenty of time to have children. For almost every year in little more than a decade the Finks were welcoming in a new baby into their ever growing family. Riley has never understood the concept of having her own room, since by the time she was born all the Fink children had to share their room with three brothers or sisters. Having thirteen children definitely came in handy for Mr. and Mrs. Fink, once they were a reasonable age they were free labor! Each child was assigned to their daily chores, which when coupled with school, took most of the day to complete. Day in and day out it was the same chores, the same schedule and the same faces staring back at Riley. There was no opportunity to be different, to be noticed. As she grew, Riley began to resent the farming life. Convinced her larger-than-life personality isn’t suited for this lifestyle, Riley is attempting everything she can to get out of this house before it’s too late.

Someone has to continue their legacy and take over the Fink farm. Her elder siblings had the luck of growing up first, leaving the house to follow their dreams and pursuits. With the rest of her family flying the coop the responsibility is honing in on those who remain. With only four siblings left in the home, it’s a race to see who can get out first, lest they be left with the burden of the farm that's short a dozen farmhands. Working at her parent’s farm by day and moonlighting as a bartender on Nomie at night, Riley is attempting to earn enough cash to rent a little apartment in the city so she can follow her real dream: become a tailor that outfits all the islanders in her outrageous fashions!

-Riley is also dyslexic, it caused her trouble in school and she hates reading because of it.

-She’s farsighted, so she owns some very un-hip glasses for activities such as sewing.

-Has never learned to dance, but doesn’t have the gumption to admit it.

-Is a self-taught seamstress, she makes all of her clothes. Her style is usually found to be a little too eccentric.
