Description A sad love story that speaks of a romantic relationship between a Firstborn and a Secondborn has to be like without devine intervention. Yet my favourite pairing in Arda nonetheless. (I conceive this as an overlap of memory images in restrospect, hence the different backgrounds.)

I still can't really blame Finrod, though. It's not a fault to speak your mind frankly, especially when the one you really love and value is involved. And when it comes to eternity and mortal life span, it is just not enough room for him to adopt an alternative way of thinking...

The cost is dear, true. And I seriously doubt he'd stick to his original idea after he was reborn into Valinor, enjoying the bliss of the union of love that his brother was no longer able to taste. (Actually this is something I want to bring into my own writing... hence the babbling )

It's true, he just tried to be a good older brother and protect his younger sibling from what he perceived was tragedy waiting to happen. That's why I did warm up to him after a while. Also, he is so lovable, it's almost impossible not to like him. <3 

I've always thought that Finrod's decision to help Beren and Luthien wasn't just him being honorable and keeping his oath, but also in part him feeling regret for the way he had blocked his brother's relationship. 
If you ever decide to write that story, I want to read it!

Very good work, I especially like Andreth's hair and Aegnor's expression. I think my favorite Arda pairing is Eowyn and Faramir, but Aegnor and Andreth are definitely in the top five.

For me, Eowyn and Faramir comes a close second. I love those two's mutual understanding and their happy ending. Faramir would make a perfect husband♥
