I see you're sketching with default PS brushes... but how do you get the photo-realistic details like the first pic(rocks), second and third pictures
( trees and plants) ? is it brushes?

Hey there
Yes these are demo's for students for how to block in thumbnails for environments. I use a very standard photoshop brush for the block in so you can't cheat 
Then some of these are built up using a mix of brushes, custom shapes and photos.
