Inspired by Snape lovers who hate Lily Evans. Is this how Snape's Worst Memory went down? Obviously.EDIT: Just to make things clear.. This comic is meant to be sarcastic.
I like Lily, James and Snape! Anyway I drew it for a friend so maybe it's a bit of an inside joke.

On a serious note, she made the right choice in not picking Severus, he was too much into the dark arts! James wasn't perfect, but he was willing to change for her. They ended up as soul mates. Yes.

Why do people hate Lily for not choosing Snape? He called her a Mudblood when she was trying to defend him! And he wasn't the best friend ever, I suppose. So really, it's not her fault.

I can't fault her for not wanting to be around after that. Even when he apologized, I still feel like he might have been able to salvage the relationship if he renounced his Death Eater ambitions, but he was unwilling to do that. Snapes longtime crush marrying the guy that tortured him for 7 years must have been a hard blow for him.

You know the reason why Lily didn't choose Snape is because Snape called her a mudblood which is a terrible insult in the Wizarding community. He also hung out with students that made no secret about wanting to become Death Eaters and Snape bullied her Muggle Born friends. James was a jack ass in school, but Snape wasn't innocent in this either, also James matured as he grew up while Snape took his bullying out on students. I like Snape because he is an interesting character, but I won't ignore his flaws and act like he was an innocent victim during his school years.
