  Despite their young age Hail is a self-assured cub, with a strong sense of independence. They have a frank and honest nature, which can sometimes come across as aloof and cold. However, Hail is also very quiet and patient, carefully observing and analyzing their environment before making any decisions. Generally they may come across as distant, as they prefer to not let people get too close to them outside of family. Hail is very private, and they may unintentionally be mean due to their bluntness. They can be a bit of a bully with other cubs and have a tendency to be too brutally honest when interacting. At the end of the day, they enjoy coming back to curl up with their parents and siblings. Overall, Hail is quite a troubled cub due to the rough circumstances of their childhood, but with training they’ll improve to become an effective hunter.

After their first sibling Sunshine was stillborn, Cherry Blossom and Lokyi had some worries about the other cubs they were expecting. Hail was one of the sickest in the litter, starting off unresponsive like Fog but eventually pulling through. They didn’t get much better unlike their siblings, but they continue to push themselves to their limits to prove their worth regardless of their health or conditions.
