Did I ever tell you about my abnormal obsession with Samurai Champloo? No? Now you know..No doubt my favorite anime or show of any kind of all time.
I can't count how many times I've watched it- leaving it playing in the back while working, listening to the audio while falling asleep, watching it on loop on my portable player, binge watching the whole thing just because...
Some of my fav ones are- the 1st ep, the beatbox guy, foreigner ep, baseball (hahahaha) . But honestly, there's not a single episode I don't enjoy rewatching.
I haven't drawn in this format for a couple of months now so I thought I'd warm up before getting started on the commissions! : >
The end of the year is so close! Hope everyone enjoys the last few days of 2017 & have some time to relax!

It's like a constant struggle between wanting to draw them because I love them yet not wanting to drawing them BECAUSE I love them so much
Hahah as much as I like the idea of it, I like how there was no "official" romance depicted in the show! That ending was perfect, it gets me everytime

I love Samurai Champloo too! The artwork, the music and of course the character's are so well written! And you're right, all the episodes are so fun to watch! Like Mugen learning how to read/write XD

Yeah!! Normally if the main character is too strong (like..undefeatable) I lose interest quickly, but something about this show all fits & works so well.

I LOOOVE samurai champloo too ..I need to rewatch I was 15 when I first wathed and it amazed me so much and lift up my standarts about anime (its a curse ahah) but really loved to see them in your style

Hahaha I can so relate to that!! After champloo and bebop, it's like my itch for the next good anime could never be scratched
All these years and although there were a few memorable ones, so far nothing has topped them in my heart.

funny thing is I recently finished bebop..(recently I mean in august) I still keep thinking the ending
oh it was so emotional man, I don't even care Julia that much I prefer Faye.It still wrecked me

I've heard of this anime, but haven't watched it so far!
This piece however looks amazing! You know I absolutely love your style, and it's so cool how different and expressive these three profiles are! The designs look so awesome too... makes me want to start watching that right now, actually. ^^
