Some of these reasons for Type Advantages/Disadvantages aren't really that good I know, if you guys have suggestions let me know
Update 3/9/21: Added more weakness and resistances to light to balance it, added more weakness to Cosmic, and added new type interactions including nerfs to Fairy, buffs to Ice and so on.

I agree with the type revamps, but the resistances etc don’t seem to make much sense to me. Additionally, new types tend to try and balance the meta game, whereas the strengths and weaknesses included seem very biased towards making some types utterly weak and others strong?

Well, for example you say Grass is immune to light. Just make it resistant to light instead and down the lines create abilities similar to Storm Drain, Motor Drive, Sap Sipper etc.

I like the concept of the types but to me it’s pretty unbalanced like how cosmic has one weakness but it’s super effective to 4 types and light gets shafted by have three types immune to it. Besides the poor balancing I love the new types on the Pokémon
