Description
Inspiration for this was the ballroom scene in the movie Anastasia. I was listening to this classical rendition of the song on repeat, I just love it. Although it did end up making me give the piece a bittersweet undertone about it

Yeah I think youtube changed their formula or whatever it's called again. They really were being downplayed before. It's good to see that at least, but in the mainstream everything has to be 3D or it won't appeal to their audiences. Only so many studios have the resources for that....

I think that's a common misconception in the animation/film industry.
I mean, have you seen how passionate the fandoms were/are for Gravity Falls, Over the Garden Wall, Adventure Time, Star vs the Forces of Evil and Villainous? And then there's Homestuck, and that was a webcomic mostly rendered in 16bit!
I think the style of animation has to fit the story, and then the story has to be well built for a cinematic audience. (The writing pacing of the story is quite different between movies as opposed to books.)
The most important ingredient, I believe, is the creators' passion.
